Some moments don’t require careful posing… they just happen. In this image, Chris and his family plopped down on this wooden bridge and were just ‘down right’ relaxed as I created this family portrait.
In this family candid, I found a patch of woods (in a secret place only I know of) and after making plenty of goofy sounds I captured several ‘earthy’ portraits with great colors and a terrific background.
This totally impromptu image was made possible by the giggles and sweet innocence of Chris’ daughter. These are the kind of memories you can relive for a lifetime.

I met Chris and his lovely family for a family portrait session at a local park. Their little girl is so photogenic that is was no problem capturing a series of great photos. The session started off near a ‘woodsy’ area that provided me with a family photographer’s ideal for a backdrop. Green trees with assorted colors in the background are always a hit for a family photo. After a couple of clicks of the shutter and several pictures later, we changed location to a different area which included a scenic bridge that lent itself perfectly for another series of photographs. Close to the end of our session I focused my attention on my little model (their daughter). Laughter and giggles were my objective for this family portrait in particular. After a little tickling and some silly talk, it all started to unfold before my camera lens and I started clicking away. The result was a fun image of Chris and his wife playing with their lovely daughter in what can only be described a “a fun family picture”.
